I love to write. My profession is in the computer software industry and I write all sorts of things including articles in a technical journal (ISUG - International Sybase Users Group - Technical Journal). When not writing the tech stuff I write about my travels, backpacking, science and nature and whatever else comes to mind. I'm an avid reader of science and nature, science fiction and various periodicals. In my technical side I write monthly articles for the mentioned journal. I started writing in that capacity in 2003, one to three articles a year at the time. Now, I'm working on starting some technical blogs, one relating to programming applications for the database and another on mobile phones, particularly Android. This being a result of my working in the high tech industry for close to 30 years. While that is going on I continue on some projects: Japan journal on my travels there in 2009, a science book on the Earth, a novel and many other things. One thing I'm working on is a backpacking blog, my homepage, providing my own pictures and experiences in the Colorado backcountry. I've backpacked for over 30 years and have lots of journal entries I'd like to get on the internet so others interested in the areas I've visited can do so themselves. Enjoy the articles and feel free to comment on them.
